Oral History

We need some enthusiastic folk to record stories please

Local residents would like to record their stories. More names and contact details are needed for this project please.
A series of recordings could be put online, made into a CD, and/or a book could be written.
If you know anyone who would like to participate in this new Starcross oral history project to record memories, please send details to
We don't mind if the memories are local, or from further afield: wartime or peacetime stories; life as a soldier or as a skilled worker; andchildhood memories.

As well as the interviewees, we need interviewers and recording experts. If you would like to have a go at interviewing, or you would be able to edit the recordings,  also please contact the above email.
